Nigerian Army Inaugurate 3 Battalion Soldiers’ Transit Accommodation Provided By Tantita Security

The newly reconstructed 3 Battalion Soldiers’ Transit Accommodation designed, built and fully furnished by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSL) for military personnel at Effurun Barrack in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, was yesterday inaugurated by the Nigerian Army.

The new modern accommodation made up of 68 single rooms, 18 toilets/batheooms and 3 central kitchenette, purposed to enhance troops welfare and address accommodation challenge faced by soldiers at the barrack, was commissioned by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Jamal Abdussalam.

The laudable project, which is part of Tantita’s ongoing partnership with state agents and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, aptly underscores the company’s impact and commitment to contribute to national security and development.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Jamal Abdussalam, while inaugurating the project, commended Tantita Security for initiating and completing the project. He noted that the soldiers’ transit accommodation will not only help in lifting the spirit of personnel, but also enhance their outputs in ensuring that there is peace and order for development of their area of coverage.

In his remark Managing Director of TSSNL, Engineer Keston Pondi, said the 3 Battalion Soldiers Transit Accommodation was reconstructed to standard to boost welfare of military personnel posted to the region as well as to deepened the bond between Tantita and the Nigerian Army.

Engr. Pondi who was represented by the Executive Director of Operations/Technical Services, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, noted that Tantita Security would continue to collaborate with the Nigerian military and other state agents in stamping out crude oil theft in the region.

Also in their separate remarks the chairman of Uvwie local government, Chief Anthony Ofoni and the commander of 3 Battalion, Major E. Onoja, commended Tantita Security for the gesture, noting that the project will no doubt, enhance the operation of military personnel.

Dignitaries present at the ceremony included Major E Onoja, commander 3 Battalion; Captain Warredi Enisuoh, Executive Director of Operations & Technical at Tantita Security Services; Mr. Godfrey Tare Pondi, General Manager Operations; and Chief Anthony Ofoni, Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council. Also in attendance were senior officials from the Nigerian Police Force, FRSC, NDLEA, NSCDC and other officials.
