NDBDA Honours Fubara, Sort Collaboration And Support.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA), Prince Ebitimi Amgbare, recently paid a courtesy visit to Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, a significant engagement aimed at strengthening collaboration between the NDBDA and the Rivers State Government.

During the visit, Prince Amgbare highlighted the role of the NDBDA in promoting sustainable development in the Niger Delta region through projects focused on water resources management, agricultural development, and environmental sustainability. He emphasized the Authority’s commitment to implementing initiatives that align with the developmental goals of Rivers State, particularly in boosting agricultural productivity and addressing the environmental challenges facing the region.

Prince Amgbare also discussed ongoing and upcoming NDBDA projects within Rivers State, expressing appreciation for the support the state government has extended to the Authority over the years. He stressed the importance of continued cooperation to ensure the successful execution of these projects, which are pivotal in improving the living standards of the people and fostering economic growth.

Amgbare commended Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his relentless commitment to uplifting the living standards of the people of Rivers State. He highlighted the governor’s focus on infrastructural development, agricultural expansion, and improved healthcare, which aligns with the broader mission of the NDBDA to foster sustainable development in the Niger Delta. ‘Governor Fubara’s vision to better the lives of Rivers State citizens is clear in his policies and actions,’ Amgbare remarked. ‘We at the NDBDA are ready to collaborate and support these initiatives, ensuring that every community benefits from the growth and progress we are working towards.”‘

In response, the Governor of Rivers State welcomed Prince Amgbare and the NDBDA delegation, commending the Authority’s efforts in the state. The Governor acknowledged the critical role of the NDBDA in complementing the state government’s developmental agenda, particularly in agriculture and water resources. He reaffirmed the government’s willingness to collaborate with the NDBDA to further enhance infrastructural development and improve the livelihood of the citizens.
