The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) has felicitated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Assemblies of Nigeria.
Guwor, who represents Warri South-West State Constituency, was described by the forum as a seasoned legislator whose leadership qualities, integrity and commitment to public service have earned him the confidence and trust of his colleagues across the federation.
In a congratulatory message signed by the President of the forum, Senior Comrade Austin Ozobo, the IPF said Guwor’s election to the prestigious national position was a clear testament to his exemplary legislative career and the high esteem in which he is held by his peers.
The forum further noted that Guwor has consistently demonstrated uncommon dedication in representing Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State and the Ijaw nation, stressing that his track record of diligence, discipline and principled leadership has distinguished him as a worthy ambassador of the people.
Expressing optimism about his tenure, the IPF said it was confident that Guwor would bring wisdom, fairness and a renewed sense of purpose to the leadership of the Conference of Speakers, while contributing significantly to the strengthening of legislative institutions and democratic governance across the states.
The statement added that the forum offered prayers for divine guidance, strength and wisdom for Guwor as he undertakes the national assignment, while assuring him of its unwavering support for a successful and impactful tenure.
