The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has congratulated Nigeria’s former ambassador to the Scandinavian countries and National Chairman of the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Amb. Dr. Godknows Boladei Igali, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
Otuaro described Igali as an elder statesman, accomplished career diplomat, scholar and author who distinguished himself in public service and nation-building.
He commended the PANDEF leader for his meritorious service to the country and his enduring contributions to the development of Bayelsa State, the Ijaw nation and the wider Niger Delta region.
According to Otuaro, Igali is a man of honour and a respected Pan-Niger Delta voice whose influence resonates within and beyond Nigeria’s shores.
Congratulating the retired federal permanent secretary and former Secretary to the Government of Bayelsa State on attaining the milestone age, the PAP Administrator prayed for God to grant him greater wisdom, sound health and long life.
“I join family, friends, associates and well-wishers to celebrate elder statesman and National Chairman of PANDEF, Ambassador Godknows Boladei Igali, PhD, on his 66th birthday,” Otuaro said.
“Ambassador Igali distinguished himself as a seasoned career diplomat and public servant. Though retired, he is not tired. He remains deeply committed to the peace and development of the Niger Delta, and the people of the region are proud of his selfless service.“He continues to inspire through his meritorious service to the fatherland. I pray that God will preserve him, grant him more wisdom, good health and a long life.”
