IPF Confers Patron Status on Braboke for Philanthropic Contributions

The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) has commended Captain Letthemsay Braboke Inaibagha, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Vettal Mega Services Limited, for what it described as his outstanding contributions to humanity and sustained community development across the Ijaw nation.

The commendation came during a courtesy visit to Inaibagha’s residence in Ogulagha, headquarters of Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, where the forum formally inducted him as a Patron.

Leading the delegation, IPF President, Ozobo Austin, said Inaibagha was singled out for the honour in recognition of his sustained commitment to uplifting lives, mentoring young people and supporting institutional initiatives within the Niger Delta.

Ozobo noted that beyond philanthropy, Inaibagha’s influence has been felt in mentorship and community-based interventions that have positively shaped the lives of many Ijaw youths.

He said: “We deeply appreciate your mentorship and your exemplary contributions to humanity and community development in the region. It is important that we use this opportunity to induct you as a Patron of IPF so that more people can benefit from your wealth of experience, which has positively impacted thousands of Ijaw youths.”

According to him, although Inaibagha is widely known for his preference for a quiet and private life, his acts of generosity, humility, diligence and compassion have continued to inspire many within and outside the region.

“We are aware that you prefer to remain out of the spotlight and do not seek recognition for your good deeds. However, we seek your understanding as we bring your achievements to the fore so others can draw inspiration from your success story,” he added.

Ozobo also expressed appreciation for Inaibagha’s support during the forum’s Ijaw Media Conference and offered prayers for his continued success and greater accomplishments.

Responding, Inaibagha thanked the forum for the honour and urged its members to remain committed to advancing the Ijaw cause through constructive and responsible engagement. He emphasised the need for peaceful, intellectual and professional advocacy in addressing issues affecting the Niger Delta, urging media practitioners to remain firm yet responsible in their reportage.

“IPF should always maintain a peaceful yet firm disposition. Your appearance may be calm, but your pen can achieve great things,” he said.
